Mahoney says it’s over; wants wife to pay his attorney’s fees

mahoneys PALM BEACH GARDENS — After months of stating he wanted to repair his marriage, former U.S. Rep. Tim Mahoney has filed divorce paperwork saying it’s over.

Meanwhile, Karen Steger, the attorney for Mahoney’s wife Terry Ellen Mahoney, say they have found additional payments the Palm Beach Gardens Democrat has made to the attorney of one of his mistresses.

The former congressman’s petition was filed Feb. 2, the same day Steger submitted paperwork claiming they needed help to get a deposition from the one-term lawmaker. (more…)
