St. Lucie’s Queens Island Preserve closed for two weeks

People are asked to avoid using the Queens Island Preserve during the next two weeks while the St. Lucie County Mosquito Control District removes invasive, exotic vegetation.

Work crews began removing the vegetation this week on 40 acres of the preserve, located at 4631 North A1A on north Hutchinson Island.
