Port St. Lucie man collects $742K in lottery winnings

PORT ST. LUCIE — A 47-year-old man claimed his portion of a $2 million MEGA MONEY jackpot, coming away with nearly $750,000, the Florida Lottery stated Tuesday.

Bruce Carley, of Port St. Lucie, was one of two jackpot winners in the March 20 drawing. Carley bought his ticket at a Chevron in Miami.

Carley selected the one-time payment option, receiving $741,770.50.

The other winning ticket, which was claimed three days after the drawing, was bought in Clearwater.

The winning numbers were: 17-20-39-41. The MEGABALL was 07.

Ticket bought in Jensen Beach wins Fantasy 5 jackpot

A ticket purchased in Jensen Beach took the entire $175,365.45 jackpot from Sunday’s Fantasy 5 drawing.

The ticket was purchased at the Publix at 4231 N.W. Federal Highway. The winning numbers were 18-23-24-28-33. The store receives a $500 bonus for selling the ticket.

$1 million lottery ticket sold in Port St. Lucie

PORT ST. LUCIE — A $1 million winning lottery ticket was sold at a gas station on Gatlin Boulevard, according to the Florida Lottery. The ticket sold at a Valero at 1297 S.W. Gatlin Boulevard.

The holiday millionaire raffle tickets, which cost $20, went on sale in mid-November and sold out by Christmas Eve.

Nine winning ticket-holders will receive $1 million a piece. Other winning tickets were sold in Orlando, Miami and Hialeah, among other places.

Port St. Lucie’s winning ticket number was 0538177.
