Teen shot in the leg in Stuart

STUART — Police are investigating a shooting that sent a man to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg.

About 1:15 a.m. on Saturday, police received a call about shots being fired on Hall Street, but when officers arrived, they did not find a shooter, according to a news release.

More than an hour later, Martin Memorial Hospital contacted police to report that they were treating a man for a gunshot wound to his leg.
