Two teens accused of breaking into vehicles in Jensen Beach
Thursday, May 28th, 2009 by Ana X. CeronTwo Jensen Beach teens face burglary and theft charges after they told police they had been trolling for unlocked vehicles to break into.
The 16-year-olds were spotted early Wednesday morning in the area of Northeast Ivy Lane wearing black and carrying a back pack, Martin County Sheriff’s investigators said.
The pair cooperated with detectives, riding around in Jensen Park Estates with detectives to show them the vehicles they had burglarized over the past three nights, according to sheriff’s reports.
Items recovered include: stereo faceplates, knives, cellular phone chargers, weather receiver, 9mm magazine with ammunition, GPS unit, depth finder, boat radio, and currency.
