Port St. Lucie woman dead from stab wounds; son being questioned

PORT ST. LUCIE — Resident Patricia Wilson has died of stab wounds inflicted in her home in the 2100 block of Southeast Fern Park Drive, which is east of U.S. 1 and North of Southeast Jennings Road, St. Lucie County Fire District officials said.

Crews were called at 9:12 a.m. to the incident, Fire District spokeswoman Catherine Chaney said.

Her son, John Wilson, age unavailable, is being questioned in connection with the stabbing, officials said.

Wilson is reported to be in her late 50s. She was transported to an area hospital.
