HOBE SOUND — Martin County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the possible homicide of a missing man.

“At about 6:30 p.m. the Martin County Sheriff’s Office received information from the Titusville Police Department regarding the possible location of a deceased individual,’’ sheriff’s spokeswoman Rhonda Irons said in a news release.

Deputies went to the 2800 block of Bridge Road in Hobe Sound where they discovered the body of Mims, Fla. resident Ezekiel Kelly Jr., 23, with an apparent gunshot wound.

“Kelly was reported missing earlier this morning from Titusville. Detectives believe Kelly was traveling south on Interstate 95 earlier today accompanied by two individuals when he was shot,” Irons said. “Detectives are working with investigators from the Titusville Police Department regarding this continuing investigation. At this time, interviews are being conducted with two individuals.”
