Man charged with exposing himself in front of children

PORT ST. LUCIE — A Port St. Lucie man was arrested and charged with exposing himself in front of two youngsters before beating their father, according to an arrest report.

John Lenelle Whitley, 26, of 1226 S.W. Curry St., was arrested by the Port St. Lucie Police Department just before 11 p.m. Saturday and charged with two counts of lewd and lascivious exhibition, aggravated battery and criminal mischief.

According to the report, Whitley and two others were looking for his dog. The father told them to leave his property, but Whitley pulled down his pants and exposed himself. The father said when he went to call police, the three attacked him.

Cody Michael Dotts, 20, of the same residence was arrested and charged with a misdemeanor of simple battery, according to the report. The third person was not arrested.

Whitley is in the St. Lucie County jail on $127,000 bail.

    The writer makes this story sound like a crazed predator is on the loose.Come to find out it was just a fight and one guy was being a wiseguy to the homeowner who was probably acting like a d-i-c-k anyway.Instead of helping them find his dog he said something to provoke him.

    I guess he should be lucky that the home owner didn’t have a gun. The way the story sounds is the men were on private property.
