Stuart’s Bathtub Reef Beach closed abruptly due to unsafe conditions

STUART — Martin County officials announced Tuesday morning that effective immediately, Bathtub Reef Beach, located at 1585 SE MacArthur Blvd. in Stuart, will close until further notice.

“The beach will be closed to all visitors due to unsafe conditions,” according to a county news release.

For more information regarding the closing of Bathtub Reef Beach, contact Richard Blankenship, director of the Martin County Parks and Recreation Department, at (772) 221-1418.
