‘If you were a man I would break your face’: Port St. Lucie dad accused of running over ex-girlfriend’s foot report says

October 6th, 2009 by TCPalm.com

PORT ST. LUCIE — A 28-year-old man accused of driving over his ex-girlfriend’s foot during a weekend child exchange faces a felony aggravated battery charge, according to recently released records.

The victim told police on Saturday she met her ex-boyfriend, Brian Jarrette Haddon, in the parking lot of police headquarters for a child exchange. She has a 19-month-old girl and 5-week-old twin boys with Haddon.

Police records gave this account:

The 25-year-old victim said she argued with Haddon, of the 2300 block of Southeast Surrey Place, because he wanted to drop off the 19-month-old girl at 11 p.m. rather than 8 p.m.

She tried to get the girl out of the car seat, and Haddon yelled “move.” She said “no” and he drove the maroon 2005 Isuzu Ascender over her left foot.

She screamed, and said Haddon got out and “consoled” the 19-month-old girl, who was crying.

Haddon then said, “I hope I broke your foot,” and added, “If you were a man I would break your face.” Haddon also said “if she didn’t stop” he’d rape her mother and sister and “kill them all.”

Haddon told police he accidentally ran over his ex-girlfriend’s foot.

Meanwhile, records show Haddon’s parents told an officer they wished to report harassing phone calls they said they were getting from the ex-girlfriend.

Haddon faces a felony aggravated battery domestic charge and a misdemeanor domestic battery charge.

In the parking lot at police headquarters? No anger issues there huh?

  2. Real Deal Says:

This is what happens when two people who probably should have never been together to begin with, make the life changing damn fool mistake for them and everybody around them of having children….this is why they have birth control so now time to pay the piper.

  3. DM Says:

Two idiots, only the children will suffer with these two as their parents. Sad.

  4. Rita Says:

Well, a 19 month old. and a 5 week old by this same man.Who knows, is number 3 in the works? Anyone who has anything to do with an idiot like him let alone having 2 children by him deserves to have her foot run over. Moron. And you think illegals are a problem? Look around you, it’s all over!

  5. Joe bob Says:

How about mandatory sterilization? If u cannot prove you’re financially or mentally capable of raising a child. just like drivers licenses, auto insurance, health insurance, how about parenting insurance, stop this nonsense before it starts. If u cannot prove u can take care of a child(ren) then u cannot procreate!!! prevention is the only way to end the suffering of innocent children!!!
