Look for I-95 lane closures in Martin and St. Lucie counties

September 21st, 2009 by TCPalm.com

Ongoing construction on Interstate 95 in St. Lucie County and construction of a truck weighing station on I-95 in Martin County will impact traffic this week.

In St. Lucie County, one lane will be closed from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Friday alternately northbound and southbound between Becker Road and Gatlin Boulevard, and between State Road 70 and Midway Road.

I-95 will be repaved between S.R. 70 and the Martin-St. Lucie county line. The 15-mile-long project is scheduled to be completed in early 2010.

In Martin County, I-95 will have one southbound lane closed between the Martin-St. Lucie County line and S.R. 714 (Martin Highway) 24 hours a day through Nov. 25, for construction of a truck weighing station.
