St. Lucie County reports first confirmed death from H1N1 swine flu virus

September 3rd, 2009 by Jason Schultz

A young adult has become the first person confirmed to have died from the H1N1 swine flu virus in St. Lucie County, according to county health department officials.

The department did not release any information about the age, gender, location or date of death of the victim except to say that it was a young adult with underlying health problems, said health department public information officer Arlease Hall.

More information will be released after the family has been given a chance to grieve, she said.

So far five people have died from the swine flu virus in Palm Beach County.

H1N1- One Problem: To attempt to keep the numbers down many institutions are “not” testing for it but yet they are treating for it. Without exposing myself, this is a “FACT”. We truly have no idea how many cases there really are but it is expected there are at least “twice” the number of cases being reported. I am willing to testify in person with Anonymity. This is truly a virus that is being kept secret until all hell breaks loose.

Wash your hands a lot throughout the day.
Do not directly touch elevator buttons and bathroom door knobs or shopping cart handles.

Sad for the family involved in this most recent death.
