Man stabbed in Fort Pierce

FORT PIERCE — A man was taken to the hospital in serious condition after getting stabbed last night.

At about 10 p.m. St. Lucie County Fire District crews responded to the 100 block of N. 29th Street, where they picked up a man who had been stabbed, according to district spokeswoman Catherine Chaney. The man was described to be in his early 20s.

Fort Pierce police were also called to the scene.
