PORT ST. LUCIE — A woman is facing a battery charge after reportedly pinching her husband during an argument on Wednesday.

The 53-year-old man told police his wife, Tetyana Meyer, 32, had pinched him in his left arm during an argument that afternoon. The man said the pinch left a mark and he wanted to press charges against his wife. He declined medical treatment.

Meyer denied pinching her husband, according to a police report. But the couple’s 4-year-old son told officers he saw his parents yelling at each other and his mother pinch his father.

Meyer was arrested on a domestic battery charge. She was being held in St. Lucie County jail Thursday morning without bond.

    AND NO BOND???????????????????????
The police dept. must not have enough REAL crooks to locate and fill the jails. What a waste of tax payers money.

  5. Jennifer Says:

OMG….you have got to be kidding. This man (and that term ios used lightly) needs serious pyschological help!!!!! Domestic battery???? I think this is taking it just too darn far.

  6. HEHASNONUTS!!!! Says:

I can’t believe that the police actually arrested her as opposed to laughing in his sorry face! What kind of man is he teaching his son to be? I would like to see an itemized lists of the actual cost of her arrest including court fees, costs of meals, costs of police response ect…. just so I can laugh at his sorry butt all over again. While they were arresting her no doubt someone was around the corner getting robbed!!! Duh!

  7. STUNNED Says:

How about the wimp I divorced. I raised my voice to him, he called it yelling, and called the police. The responding officer said if I did it again they would arrest me. No violence just loud mouth. Talk about wasting resources.

  8. CRYSTAL Says:

This is ridiculous!! Instead of asking to press charges he should just ask for a divorce!!

  9. Limida Facalon Says:

What if a man bruised a woman with a pinch and he was hauled off to jail, what would ya’ll think then? Just askin’….

  10. Arch Stanton Says:

  11. Anon Says:

Limada, I’d pinch him back, but I would certainly not call the police for it.

  12. Shadow Says:

Can you say mail order bride….

  13. ouch! Says:

Can you believe this? The police dept. should be ashamed of themselves. What kind of father puts his 4 year old in a position to have to witness this farce!!! I’m afraid to hear who has the kids while the Mom is in jail! Not el’ wimpo, I hope!!!

  14. investagator Says:

Has the police looked into the husband’s SERIOUS battery charges? I have! Guns, punching his wife, serious bruising, broken leg, and more. Alcohol and drugs are his only buddies. She pinched him! Her kids were given to him!
Where are social services? Come on, please!!!!!!!!

  15. Moe Moe Says:

Domestic violence no matter who is on the receiving end is never right. But, what piss me off is that this man allowed his 4 year old child to watch his mother be hauled off to jail. Could the police have asked one of the parents to stay with family or friends overnight until things cooled down? Even if it would have been the reverse and the man would have pinched her. As an officer, I would have done the same and not taken him to jail either. Now, taxpayers money and resources will be wasted. I think the officers got a kick out of humiliating this woman. And for the man, get some balls. I hope you feel like a real man now that you have temporarily deprived your son of a mother. What a whimp and sissy and any other name I can’t say on this blog!!!

  16. bob bobby Says:

    GO GO GO

  20. Lee Says:

The law needs to look into this man’s life and check him out a little…im sure they will find out what a crook he really is who is hiding his income and not paying uncle Sam the taxes he should be paying…Stop waisting time on arresting innocent people and look into the lifes of crooks like him…
