Last week, Kyle was unconscious and on a ventilator at Cornell University Medical Center in New York. The family went there a week earlier hoping Kyle could get an experimental treatment involving injections of radiation-laced proteins.

But the cancer, which developed when Kyle was 2, progressed to the point the experimental treatment couldn’t be applied unless chemotherapy could shrink new tumors he developed.

Kyle is also survived by a 13-year-old sister.

If you remember, this same form of cancer was very pronounced in the Port St. Lucie area years back. I always relate Port St. Lucie to this, there were numerous cases of this same brain cancer in small children. We need to get to the bottom of this.

Kyle Wahl, brave little warrior, I’m proud to have been able to ride in a poker run benefit, held in your honor, a couple of years ago. Rest in peace little warrior as you enter the Kingdom of the Lord. God Bless You!
