PORT ST. LUCIE - The Port St. Lucie Community Concert Band is to play at 7 p.m. Feb. 19 in the Emerald Ballroom of the civic center.

The band, under the direction of Stephen Torick, will feature music by Glenn Miller, Harry James and Benny Goodman, as well as the sounds of Alexander’s Ragtime Band, Dixieland Jam and St. Louis Blues. The evening will also include an Armed Forces Salute in honor of our veterans and those who currently serve in the military.

The concert is free and no tickets are required. Donations are welcome for an annual scholarship presented to a Port St. Lucie graduate who majors in music.

The civic center is located at 9221 S.E. Civic Center Place, on the southeast corner of U.S. 1 and Walton Road.
