Gregory V. White, 43, offered to trade sex acts with a 3-year-old girl he knows in exchange for sex with the older girl, St. Lucie County Sheriff’s investigators said. Detectives later learned that the younger girl was actually 2 years old, according to a sheriff’s report.

White’s wife said her husband liked “young girls,” the report states, and was recently in Costa Rica. Investigators said they later learned that White had also visited the Bahamas and Central America on several occasions.

On Wednesday, White declined to answer questions from investigators without an attorney. When his wife asked why he was getting arrested at their home in the 3400 block of Southwest Funtuna Street, he told it was about what he did online, deputies said.

“This is about me on the Internet, it’s all my fantasy,” he said, according to the report.

White was booked into the St. Lucie County jail on Wednesday and is being held without bond. He faces three felony charges involving sexual battery of a child.
