January 7th, 2009 by TCPalm.comSTUART — A Jensen Beach man under arrest for two home invasion attempts — including one where an 89-year-old woman was able to shove him out her door — is now charged with a third home invasion and burglarizing Maggie’s Books and Junque Shop after detectives searching his home found a black powder pistol that was taken in the burglary.
Jeffrey Servidio, 58, is charged with the home invasions on Jan. 1 and Jan. 2, both in Jensen Beach. He is charged with a third home invasion on Dec. 22 and with burglarizing the shop on Dec. 28. He is being held on combined bond totaling more than $64,000.
Detectives say Servidio admits breaking into the home of a 97-year-old woman on Northeast Warner Drive on Dec. 22 and taking $600 to $700 in cash after threatening to kill her. All of the victims in the home invasions were elderly. He faces charges of battery of the elderly and armed burglary.
