Woman dies in northern St. Lucie County while crossing Kings Highway

One woman was killed tonight while trying to cross Kings Highway in northern St. Lucie County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The pedestrian, who has not been identified, was hit by a car and killed at the intersection with Indrio Road around 6:15 p.m., according to FHP officials.

No other details were available about the crash.
