Extra days added to holiday camp in St. Lucie County

FORT PIERCE - Extra days have been added to a holiday camp for children at the new Havert L. Fenn Center.

The holiday camp, which is for children ages 5 to 11, will now run from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Dec. 22-24, Dec. 29-31, and Jan. 2. Campers will make holiday ornaments, play indoor and outdoor games, spend the day at the park, celebrate the New Year with a big party and more. Offsite trips to Gator Bowl and the Sabal Palm Movie Theater are planned.

Cost is $15 per day or $75 for the entire session. Snacks and lunch are not provided. Field trips also cost extra. Pre-registration is required.

The Havert L. Fenn Center is located at 2000 Virginia Ave. For more information, call Nita Wiechel at 772-462-1521.
