Tree-lighting ceremony at Port St. Lucie Civic Center Thursday

PORT ST. LUCIE — The city’s annual tree-lighting ceremony is scheduled for 6 p.m. Thursday at the new Port St. Lucie Civic Center.

There will be holiday music, commemorative holiday ornaments for the first 300 people to arrive and refreshments. Admission is free.

The Winter Wonderland Light Show will start immediately after the tree-lighting ceremony at the community center at 2195 SE Airoso Blvd. The light display, which is also free, will occur every evening at 6 p.m. until Jan. 2.
