A Miami man was arrested for allegedly stealing a 35-foot motor boat from St. Lucie County.

Omar Marquez, 36, was arrested earlier this week in Miami-Dade County while towing another boat he had stolen in that county, according to the St. Lucie County sheriff’s office. The St. Lucie boat, a 35-foot 2008 Everglades motorboat, was stolen from the Marine Connection earlier this month.

Miami-Dade police recovered the motor and accessories, which had been stolen from the boat. Marquez was being held without bond at the Miami-Dade County jail.
