PORT ST. LUCIE — The St. Lucie County Tourist Development Council plans to launch a new promotional campaign at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at the PGA Country Club, county officials announced. The new campaign, “Visit and Explore St. Lucie Florida, Jewel of the Treasure Coast,” is part of plans to promote tourism in St. Lucie, with a goal of increasing the county’s share of Florida’s tourism market, officials said. The event, which runs until 7 p.m., is open to the public.
