Martin, Port St. Lucie Plan Greenway Ribbon Cutting

October 29th, 2008 by Cara Fitzpatrick

JENSEN BEACH — Martin County commissioners and officials from the City of Port St. Lucie plan to hold a ribbon cutting at 9 a.m. Thursday to commemorate the designation of the portion of the East Coast Greenway that runs along the Green River Parkway in Jensen Beach. The East Coast Greenway is a multi-user, urban equivalent to the Appalachian Trail and spans over 3,000 miles between Calais, Maine and Key West, Florida. The ribbon cutting event will be held at the Martin-St. Lucie County Line on Green River Parkway and the public is welcome to attend.
